Mission
Tegaru Women for Peace (TWP) is an association dedicated to promoting hope and healing for Tegaru women worldwide. Our focus is to raise awareness on the impacts that conflict has on women and children and to advocate for their rights and needs.
We aim to empower Tegaru women through education, advocacy, mentorship, and community building. Our goal is to foster a community where Tegaru women can connect, learn, grow, heal, and make a positive impact on the world around them.

TWP strives to create a safe and inclusive space for Tegaru women to come together and work towards a more peaceful future. Our focus is to raise awareness on the impact that conflict has on women and children and to pave a path forward.

We plan to mobilize Tegaru women to promote peace, nonviolence, and conflict resolution in our communities by equipping them with the necessary resources and knowledge.

We plan to provide comfort, care, and support to individuals who have been affected by war crimes and conflict. Our hope to empower these survivors to heal, rebuild their lives, and reclaim their dignity.

We plan to advocate on behalf of the women and girls who have been targeted with sexual violence as a weapon of war. Our goal is to work towards ending this form of violence and to ensure that survivors have access to the care and support they need to rebuild their lives and reclaim their dignity.

We plan to offer a supportive community for families that have been torn apart by conflict. TWP recognizes the devastating loss and trauma that families are experiencing - particularly for parents who have lost their children and for children who have lost their parents. We intend to create a space that allows for these survivors to connect, share their experiences, and begin to heal in the wake of their loss.
